Singer was born on 26 November 1986 at Santa Monica California. The singer is the daughter of Vincenzo Barba, her father and Valerie Barba. The family relocated from New Jersey's Point Pleasant to Jersey at the age of six. In New Jersey, she finished her studies through Red Bank Catholic High School. After that, she went to Catholic University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in architecture. Additionally, she began playing the violin around the age of four and was referred to as Violin Girl. She was referred to by her first name because of her appearances.
