Molly was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She began her professional stage career at the age of 13, at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Then she was nominated as one of the Barrymore Award nominee for her character of Little Red Ridinghood at the Arden Theater's production Into the Woods. This role she performed again as she made her Broadway d but at the age fifteen with Into the Woods, on Broadway. The show was nominated as an award for the Drama League Award. Molly played the role in the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof (2004). Molly then went to Princeton University where she was a member of the Triangle Club and graduated in 2008 with the degree of a B.A. In Religion. Molly is a regular in regional plays like The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in the Barrington the Stage Company and the The North Shore Music Theater's 2008 production and Westport Country Playhouse 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank where she played Anne. Molly was a part of several regional productions, such as The Diary of Anne Frank in Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 production. In this play she was the daughter of a teenager Ali.
